Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27
Christians have been given the task of caring for the fatherless – what does that mean for FBC?
In November of 2010 FBC began its Adoption/Orphan Care Ministry Emphasis by introducing various options of becoming involved in adoption and orphan care. We recognize that not every family is called to adopt, but we do believe that every Christian is called to embrace adoption in however God calls them.
Below are some agencies First Baptist has partnered with to provide avenues to embrace adoption and become an adoption-missional church.
