Family Ministry

We at First Baptist Church value children as a great gift and responsibility from God. We desire to partner with parents during this great time of learning, growing, developing and maturing in the lives of our children to build a firm foundation of faith from a young age. Our leaders realize the importance of these formative years and that their experiences determine the kind of person your child will become. We want our children to become all that God intended them to be.

Family Ministry Volunteer Kickoff  - July 26th

Wednesday, July 26th @ 6:30pm

Every phase is unique. Every phase matters. And what our volunteers do matter too.

All Family Ministry Volunteers including Sunday Small Group Leaders and Awana leaders are encouraged to be there, and learn more as we cast vision and celebrate.

Milestone Transition Fellowship - July 27th

Thursday, July 27th @ 7pm

All Kindergarteners and 6th graders for the 2017-2018 school year and their parents are invited to this ice cream fellowship.

All transitions come with a little excitement and a little anxiety about trying something new. We want to increase the excitement and decrease the anxiety by walking through how the Family Ministries at FBC are similar and how they are different.

Kids only have 312 weeks in elementary school and 156 weeks in middle school so let's partner together to make the most of the time we do have with these kids.

Promotion Sunday - August 6th

Sunday, August 6th @ 9:15am

Preschool and Elementary parents and children are invited to start Promotion Sunday in the Fellowship Hall where a simple breakfast will be available from 9:00-10:15am. There families will pick up an information packet and then visit the children's small group rooms to meet their Small Group Leaders. Families can then return to the Fellowship Hall to watch the Preschool First Look Wonder video and 252 Kids Story video for the week.
